For their capstone projects, Cal Poly Engineering students are sought out by companies to complete research projects over the course of two quarters. These students are put into groups in which they brand their projects to then present to the Cal Poly board and the company who requested the research.
INTRODUCING THE GROUPS
Duck Defenders was a group of software engineers that were sought out by Project Owl, a tech company working to provide disaster relief for communities.
Uncivil Engineers was a group of civil engineers that created and branded their own engineering firm for their senior design projects. Their brand would be included on any and all final submittals to the department of engineering.
